Enzo Fittipaldi Wins Rotax Shoot Out in Salt Lake City, UT

The Orsolon Racing team went ready to race at the Rotax Shoot Out in Salt Lake City, UT and was composed by five drivers. The team had three drivers in Mini Max, Chevy Rodriguez from Colombia, Riley Dickinson from Texas and the grand son of legend Emerson Fittipaldi, Enzo Fittipaldi from Brazil. On the Jr class, for first time in the team Blake Hunt from Charllote, and On Sr Dan Roeper from New York.

Miller Motorsport Park it is an amazing facility and has a fast layout, the whole team had a strong week of testing especially with the big altitude difference.

On Saturday's qualifying, Enzo ended up in 8th, Riley 10th and Chevy 11th in the 32 kart field. With an amazing battle in the prefinal race, the Orsolon Racing boys managed to move forward with Enzo in 3rd, Riley 6th, and Chevy 12th. In the main event, Chevy had a strong start going to 5th but unfortunately had to stop due to a broken chain. Riley finished 4th with an amazing pace and best lap of the race. Enzo led a long part of the race, got passed in the last lap but managed to pass back and got the checked flag in first. It was an amazing result being in the top 8 with all three drivers and with this amazing finish.

In the Jr Blake Hunt represented the team and had a solid day being on top 20 all the sessions. Blake just move to Jr and is getting up to the speed every time goes on track.

In Sr, Dan Roeper got involved in a mess on lap 2 of the prefinal and did not finish starting last on the final race. With an impressive recuperation race, Dan came from 30th all the way to 4th and if the race had 3 more laps could fight for the win.

The next event will be the Nationals in two weeks also in Salt Lake City. The team close the weekend with a positive result and a lot of information to be used on the Nationals.
