Strong FWT Rotax Round for Orsolon Racing and Podium for Max Papis

The Orsolon Racing team was all complete for the first round of the FWT Rotax in Homestead, FL.
The team was composed by seven drivers from four different contries. United States, Brazil, Italy and Colombia.

Diego Contecha from Colombia in the Micro Max, Chevy Rodriguez also from Colombia and American Riley Dickinson in Mini Max. American Dan Roeper and Brazilian Renato Jader David in Sr class. Italian ex-F1, IndyCar, and Nascar driver Max Papis in Rotax Masters, and Colombian Camilo Matiz in DD2 Masters.

On Saturday, Diego qualified 16th in the Micro Max class and managed to finish 10th in the main event which was a surprise for a driver without any experience. The young Colombian got 12th on Sunday's qualifying and finished the race with a solid 11th in both prefinal and final.

In the Mini Max Class, one of the biggest fields of the event with 45 drivers, American driver Riley Dickinson qualified 9th and the Colombian Chevy Rodriguez got 14th for Saturday's race. They both got involved in incidents on the start and ran a recuperation race coming from the back. Riley finished 15th and Sebastian Rodriguez 19th. On Sunday's qualifying race Riley end up 14th and Chevy 16th, and I the prefinal race, they both got in to many battles and end up 12th and 14th respectively. On the main event, Rirley was 6th and got involved in a crash falling all the way back to 30th and finished 15th and Chevy finished 12th with a solid final race.

On the Sr class, the main class of the event with the highest level of drivers, Dan Roeper qualified 4th and Renato 18th for Saturday. In the main event, Dan end up 7th with some amazing overtakes and Renato 18th. On Sunday qualifying Dan got 3rd and Renato 17th and on the main event Renato could not make it with a broken rib. Dan got involved in a crash while he was running in 4th place.

Colombian driver Camilo Matiz qualified 8th for Saturday's DD2 Master race and had a solid day in the same position in the prefinal and final races. Camilo got 5th on Sunday's qualifying and managed to finish 4th in the final race.

Max Papis in the Master class, could not come to test prior to qualifying due to a Nascar test. He managed to qualify in 5th and could not finish the final race due to brake pads failure. On Sunday's qualifying, the famous Italian driver end up 4th, and finished same position on the prefinal and with a strong final race managed to finish on the podium in 3rd place.

The next race for the Orsolon Racing team is the FWT in Ocala, FL on February 5-9.
