Good FWT Season Start at Homestead

The Orsolon racing team started the 2014 season at Homestead for the first week of the Florida Winter Tour. The team was composed by three drivers, Colombians Chevy Rodrigues and Diego Contecha both in Mini Rok and the American driver Dan Roeper in Tag Sr.
The drivers had a solid week of testing and went strong to qualify on Saturday.
Dan Roeper with an amazing qualifying session got pole and managed to finish 2nd and 1st in both heats.
On the main event Dan had a nice fight for the lead with Brittish driver Ed Brand and American Daniel Formal and end up 3rd with the best lap of the race.
The Mini Rok drivers had a hard day getting involved in some incidents and Chevy Rodriguez ended up 18th and Diego Contecha 27th in the main event.
On sunday Dan qualified 6th in Tag Sr. and finish 3rd in the first heat, 2nd in the second heat and in the final race Dan finished second in a nice battle.
The Colombians in Mini Rok had a tought day with Chevy getting 19th in the heats and Diego getting involved in a crash as well as the main race.
The next event for the team is next week again in Homestead for the FWT Rotax week.
